Panic Disorder Treatment
Panic disorders are an extremely disabling mental health issue, and can lead to social withdrawal and the avoidance of any public activity associated with prior feelings of panic, or which cause these feelings to arise.
This often results reclusive behaviour, which can in turn lead to more severe and debilitating concurrent mental health disorders, such as agoraphobia or panic attacks. The latter is one of the most disabling factors of a panic disorder, and can occur at any time of life. These episodes usually come on quickly and can last upwards of 30 minutes, causing severe physical and mental strain, exhibiting symptoms such as rapid heart beat, sweating, trembling, and shortness of breath.
At Trafalgar Addiction Treatment Centres, we want to help you to understand and take control of the disabling effects of this disorder through the use of our unique therapy programs and individual counselling sessions. The comfortable, private nature of our facilities will help you to reconnect with yourself and others while you undergo a treatment program established in collaboration between you and our experienced staff.
