Nassrin is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University.
She adopts a holistic, client-centered, and trauma-informed approach, empowering clients to navigate challenges and achieve healing, recovery, and self-empowerment.
Her extensive experience includes supporting adults with concurrent disorders (mental health and addiction), depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD/complex trauma, interpersonal issues, grief, self-worth challenges, and understanding family systems’ impact on well-being. She employs evidence-based modalities such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
As Interim Clinical Manager of the Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program, Nassrin leverages her leadership experience from clinical and program management at Trafalgar East’s Residential Treatment Program in Cobourg, Ontario, and various awarded leadership roles in post-secondary institutions. A dedicated member of Trafalgar since 2017, she brings specialized insights and a steadfast commitment to client care.
