Nassrin is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University.
Nassrin utilizes a holistic and client-centred framework in working with her clients to overcome life’s challenges and begin their journey of healing, recovery, self-empowerment, and wellness.
She utilizes empathy and compassion to create a therapeutic space where one can feel safe, accepted, heard, respected, and understood.
Nassrin’s training and experience include working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, complex trauma, personality disorders, and grief/loss. Nassrin also worked with individuals with minority backgrounds and identity development.
Her therapeutic techniques include Psychodynamic, Mindfulness-based interventions, including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
