Hi there, thank you for joining me on your wellness journey. Today’s video is about journaling prompts for self-love.
At first, self-love might seem like a silly concept or might actually feel like a selfish thing to do, but have you ever considered how your life could improve if you took the time to make sure your needs are met?
Taking care of yourself is an important factor in properly being able to take care of others. It’s like the oxygen mask analogy on the airplane.
The passengers are instructed to give themselves oxygen first before they provide the oxygen to their dependents.
So now let’s go through some journaling prompts for self-love. You don’t have to answer all of these, and these might just lead you into other questions to self-reflect.
So take what you can out of these questions. How do I treat people that I love? How can I treat myself the same? What does a person who loves themselves actually do for themselves? Well, what would self-love feel like or look like if I had more of it, what would I do today if I love myself?
What is one commitment that I can make to love myself every day? What did I enjoy doing as a child? Can I bring some of that back into my life now? Is there anything I do or anyone I know that makes me feel worse about myself? If yes, how can I create some distance or boundaries between these things or people?
What is one thing I can do that makes me feel better about myself? And is there anything I can tell myself every day that will remind me that I am worthy of love?
Thank you for taking the time to watch this video and being open to reflecting on these journal prompts and building and reflecting on yourself love. Thank you and we’ll see you again.
