Registered Social Service Worker and Canadian Certified Addictions Counsellor with 8 years of addictions treatment experience.
Started off in a residential treatment setting and have since worked with addictions supportive housing programs, outpatient addictions treatment programs and imbedded with hospital units to engage clients in hospital for substance use related concerns.
Currently working towards a degree in Sociology, with a goal to be a part of the solutions related to the societal factors that contribute to the addictions and mental health crisis in society today.
I look forward to working with clients everyday to support their change process. Its not always easy to change but I believe everyone has the ability to change in them, its about being the catalyst for that change.
