Rachel Dahan does not currently work at Trafalgar.
Rachel Dahan is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
Rachel has 10 years of experience in the field having worked in various addiction treatment centres and non-profit organizations, trauma-specific programs and community outreach programs. Rachel specializes in trauma, addiction, and mental health.
Rachel works from a trauma-focused lens, helping individuals understand their own story and how it impacts their everyday functioning. Her aim is to help clients navigate their emotions, untangle their thoughts and explore new ways of coping.
Rachel uses a combination of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to identify patterns of ineffective behaviours, change one’s relationship with their thoughts and emotions, and improve overall quality of life.
Rachel specializes in the treatment of behavioural and substance addictions and PTSD. She has worked with many VA and first-responders.
